                               ORDINANCE NO. 10383
        
        
                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO AMEND ARTICLE V, SECTIONS 1004, 1014(5), 
                   AND 1024(7) RELATIVE TO SCREENING BETWEEN
                   RESIDENTIAL USES AND INDUSTRIAL USES IN THE
                   M-1, M-2 AND M-3 ZONES.

              	   BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
         CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as amended, 
the
         Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is hereby amended so as to
         amend Article V, Sections 1004, 1014(5) and 1024(7) relative to 

         screening between residential uses and industrial uses in the
         M-1, M-2 and M-3 zones.
              	   SECTION 1.	  That Article V, Sections 1004, 1014(5)
         and 1024(7) be amended as follows:
        
         	   Any industrial use shall be screened on all side
                   yard and rear yard lot lines adjoining a
                   residential use or zone by one (1) of the
                   methods given below, as selected by the owner.
        
        
         	   SECTION 2.	  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that this
         Ordinance shall take effect two weeks from and after its 
passage
         as required by law.
